"Enchanting, beautifully written. Adam Greenwood revives the ancient art of fireside story-telling in literary form. A magical, emotional and imaginative re-discovery of old English legends and myth."
- Raven Dane, author of the Legacy of the Dark Kind series.
"I read this while on holiday and was taken by the mix of myth, legend and different slant on the Robin Hood tale of old. The author puts a real fantasy spin on the old legends and gives an ending bordering on the religious.
If you like the legends of Robin Hood and have been bored with recent incarnations, give this book a try. You will not read another book like this with Little John and Tuck and Marion given very different roles and personas than we are normally used too.
Written with elegance and bewitching the reader to their core. This was obviously a labour of love."
- Peter Mark May, The Novel Blog Reviews
"I recently met the author whom I bought the book off and I must say that I couldn't put it down, it was a fantastic book, mixing the best of the Robin Hood story with magical folklore, faeries, nymphs and the usual evil spirits. I enjoyed it very much and I could identify with the human character of Robert, his ideals aspirations and the need to see justice done for the poor while being helped by an almighty team, Hob and Ket, Little John the tree and the enigmatic and enchanting Holly who must have been my favorite character in the book.
All in all a 5 out of 5 and would gladly recommend it to anyone."

"I loved this book, a mystical retelling of a well-loved legend. It had powerful emotions, scary bits and a beautiful evocation of our ancient woodland and their mythical inhabitants. A writer with a unique vision".

"Apart from the fact that Robin of the Wood is a charming and enchanting story, I particularly enjoyed it because it reminded me of the true "once upon a time" stories everyone used to love - and now do not appear that often. Whether to sit and read to yourself or to a child at storytime - Robin of the Wood fits the bill nicely.
It is different, it is nicely written, it is a super story!"
